Average US dollar exchange rate in the cash market decreased

On September 23-25, the average rate of US dollar has gradually decreased. So, in the exchange offices of Dushanbe and Sogd region 1 USD has made 4,4150-4,4250 Somoni. The average rates of the Russian ruble and Euro have slightly raised and made 1,4500-1,4600 Somoni for 10 Russian roubles and 6,4600-6,5000 Somoni for 1 Euro accordingly. As a whole, now it is observed a big demand for Somoni.

On 23-25 September the volumes of transactions with foreign currency in the inter-bank and intra-bank markets tended to decrease and testified to increasing transactions with the Russian ruble and Euro in the inter-bank segment of the market. As a whole, on the affected operations on the given segment of the market the average rate of US dollar and Russian ruble have been slightly reduced and made 4,4073 Somoni for 1 USD and 1,4365 Somoni for 10 Russian rubles. The average buying-selling rate of Euro has a little raised and made 6,4620 Somoni for 1 Euro.
