Meeting in the National Bank of Tajikistan

The meeting on discussion of draft of the Instruction «On exchange offices and remittance services» with participation of staff members of the National Bank of Tajikistan, representatives of credit organizations and individuals - employees of exchange offices took place on April 4, 2008 in the National Bank of Tajikistan.

In his opening address the Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan Jusupov D. Z. has underlined that activity of some exchange offices does not meet requirements and in this connection it is necessary to approve this Instruction now.

The Head of Currency Regulation Department of the National Bank of Tajikistan Saidov H. S has stated the detailed analysis of a situation in the internal exchange market and expressed an assessment of work of banks in this field.

The comments to the main points of draft of the Instruction «On exchange offices and remittance services» have been reflected in the address of Deputy Head of Currency Regulation Department of the NBT Mavlonov M. M.

The staff members of credit organizations and employees of exchange offices actively have participated in the discussion of the draft. The suggestions and supplements made have been considered and taken into consideration.
