IKROMI SIROJIDDIN SALOM
Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan
Ikromi Sirojiddin Salom was born on January 5, 1972 in the Republic of Tajikistan. He graduated from the Economic Faculty of Kulob State University by specialty “Economic and Social Planing” (1997). He is a Candidate of Economical Sciences.
He started his career as a collective farmer of collective farm named after K. Marx of Vose district, in 1990-1992 he served in the Armed Forces of USSR.
Ikromi Sirojiddin Salom worked as a research assistant of the Tajik Research Institute of Economics and Organization of Agricultural Production under the Agricultural Academy.
From 1999 till 2022 he worked in the State Savings Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan “Amonatbonk” in Frunze district of Dushanbe city and held various positions. Then he worked as a Senior Inspector and a Chief Inspector of Control and Interbank Audit Management of the Board of the State Savings Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan “Amonatbonk”. He also held a post of Head of Deposits and Securities Management, Head of Banking Development Management, Head of Control and Interbank Audit Management and Director of Crediting Department of the Board of the State Savings Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan “Amonatbonk”.
Ikromi Sirojiddin Salom held a post of Deputy Chairman of the Board of the State Savings Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan “Amonatbonk” from 2010 till 2015, from 2015 till 2019 – Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan, from 2019 till 2024 Chairman of the Board of the State Unitary Enterprise Savings Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan “Amonatbonk”.
On January 16, 2024, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, No 683 he was appointed to the position of Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan.
He is a member of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan; in 2020 he was elected a Deputy of Majlis of People’s Deputies of the city of Dushanbe. He speaks English and Russian.
He is married and has 6 children.
