Visit of the Official delegation of the Swiss National bank

Delegation of the Swiss National bank, led by Mr. Marco Cavaleri, newly appointed Director of Technical Assistance Department of bank has arrived on an official visit to the National Bank of Tajikistan on May, 15 of current year.

During the official meeting Mr. Hamidullo Mashrabzoda, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan has acquainted Delegation of Swiss National bank with a situation in banking system of country, macroeconomic indicators and realized reforms in sphere to banki system of the country, having noticed, that despite influence of external factors the Republic Tajikistan could provide stability of economy.

In the course of meeting Parties have discussed priority directions of effective cooperation with the view of rendering of the technical assistance, and also other actual aspects of banking system of the country. Among others, issues of monetary policy, financial stability, risk analysis, forecasting with the account of statistical data, development of strategies and their effective methods have been discussed and exchanged opinions concerning further cooperation.

In the second part of programme of a visit Mr. Marco Cavaleri, Director of Technical Assistance Department of the Swiss National bank made a presentation on “Bilateral cooperation and methods of technical assistance” which comprises activity of the given Department and principal directions of cooperation for performance of technical assistance. Also Mr. Marco Cavaleri has discussed issues of operational structure of international monetary cooperation, basic directions of mutual activity, goals and basic procedures in cooperation areas. In the end of presentation with participation of heads of structural divisions of National bank of Tajikistan long discussion has taken place, visitors from National bank of Switzerland have expressed the satisfactions concerning interesting offers for realisation of the technical assistance. At the end of presentation open-ended discussion with participation of heads of structural subdivisions of the National bank of Tajikistan, quests from National bank of Switzerland have expressed the satisfactions regarding interesting offers for realisation of the technical assistance.

It is necessary to note that Mr. Marco Cavaleri, Director of Technical Assistance Department of the Swiss National bank on this official trip was accompanied also by Mr. Heim Gilbert and Ms. Nadira Huonker, employees of the given bank.
