Meeting of Jamoliddin Nuraliev with delegation of International Consulting Company “Alvarez&Marsal”

On May 30, 2017, Mr. Jamoliddin Nuraliev, First Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan has received Ms. Ayten Rustamova, Head of EBRD Office in the Republic of Tajikistan and delegation of International Consulting Company “Alvarez&Marsal” led by Nikolay Kuznetsov.

The meeting was held in the frame of the EBRD technical assistance and Cooperation agreement with International Consulting Company “Alvarez&Marsal” for development of rehabilitation plan of two systemic banks - OJSC “Agroinvestbank” and OJSC “Tojiksodirotbank”.

During the meeting Parties have exchanged opinions on the issues connected with current situation of country’s banking system, including financial situation of two systemic banks - OJSC “Agroinvestbank” and OJSC “Tojiksodirotbank”, and also credit portfolio quality, assets and liabilities, net of branches, condition of software and data support.

In the course of the meeting Mr. Jamoliddin Nuraliev, First Deputy Chairman has informed that the National Bank of Tajikistan is ready for cooperation with International Company “Alvarez&Marsal” for development of rehabilitation plan of given banks. Particularly, specifying employees’ expertise of the company, Mr. J. Nuraliev has expressed confidence that the new and relevant model for rehabilitation of the given banks will be developed and offered by “Alvarez&Marsal” Company.

In turn Mr. Nikolay Kuznetsov, Director of International Consulting Company “Alvarez&Marsal” has expressed gratitude to the NBT representatives for cooperation and assistance, having stated that he will focus all efforts and experience for justification of NBT expectations.

It is worth to note that Ms. Marina Ermakova, EBRD representative, experts of International Consulting Company “Alvarez&Marsal” and Principles of Structural Subdivisions of National Bank of Tajikistan also have taken part in this meeting.
