Seminar on financial literacy for

National Bank of Tajikistan in the frame of partner cooperation with the German Savings Banks Foundation for International Cooperation with the support of Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan with the view of improvement financial literacy, has organised the educational interactive program titled “Savings” for pupils of 7-8 classes on June 21, 2017 in children's camp “Sharora”.

In the beginning of a seminar Mr. Kosimi Sa’di, Director of the Republican additional education centre under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan has particularly noted importance and necessity of learning of financial knowledge by each citizen. Mr. Kosimi Sa’di has explained for what similar educational games on financial literacy are necessary for children and invited each participant to be active and attentive in studying of the provided information.

The given educational game was spent in three rounds (modelling of family life), participants were trained how to plan their incomes and expenses, how to make balanced decisions upon occurrence of unexpected vital problems, as well as where to reserve their money, and also financial institutions role in people’s life.

The purpose of holding similar interactive seminars is attraction of pupils’ interest to studying of financial knowledges. It is worth to note that participants of this seminar were 12-14 years old teenagers from economically disadvantaged families, orphan and half-orphan children.

It is necessary to add, that at end of seminar all participants have received gifts, books and school supplies from organizers of action.
