Seminar on modeling family life for teenagers

Within the framework of the partnership with the German Savings Banks Foundation and at support of Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, with a view to increasing financial literacy, the National Bank of Tajikistan held Educational and interactive program titled “Savings” for teenagers on August 2, 2017 in the Sharora children's camp.

At the beginning of seminar, specialists of the Consumer Rights Protection of the Financial System Management of NBT explained to participants how important it is to be a financially literate person and for what such educational and interactive programs for adolescent children are needed.

It should be noted that this educational game was conducted in three rounds (modeling of family life), participants were taught how to plan their incomes and expenses, how to make balanced decisions in the case of unexpected life difficulties, how and where to save their money, and what is credit, savings, deposits and role of financial institutions in people's lives.

The aim of holding such seminars is to attract the interest of youngsters to studying financial knowledge. Recall that the participants of this seminar were teenagers of 14-15 ages.

At the end of the game all participants received gifts, books and school supplies from the organizers.
