Participation of Hokim Kholiqzoda at the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum and bilateral meetings of the management of the National Bank of Georgia and Fina LLC

On October 25-27, 2023, the Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan Hokim Kholiqzoda participated in the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum held in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Montenegro Dritan Abazovic took part in the opening ceremony of the event. It should be noted that the forum was attended by more than 2000 participants from 63 countries of the world.

At the event, current regional issues related to the economy, trade, transport, energy, tourism, digital and financial technologies were discussed in separate panels.

On the margins of the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum, Hokim Kholiqzoda met with Natia Turnava, Acting Chairman of the National Bank of Georgia. During the meeting, the parties discussed aspects of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation and expressed satisfaction with the current state in this direction.

In this regard, the parties expressed a desire to sign a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the National Bank of Tajikistan and the National Bank of Georgia.

In addition, within the framework of the business trip of the Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan, the Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan met with the management and representatives of the technological company "Fina" LLC.

It was noted that "Fina" LLC is one of the technological companies of the Republic of Georgia in the field of information technologies, which has been cooperating with the National Bank of Tajikistan for more than twenty years.

During the meeting the issues related to further cooperate in the sphere of automation of business processes of the National Bank of Tajikistan, improvement of the process of collection of reports of credit financial and insurance organizations, as well as their coordination were discussed.
