Transactions on buying-selling of foreign currency in the inter-bank market increased

In the morning on 18 September and in the days off the average buying-selling rate of US dollar on the basic segments of the currency market has decreased. As well as in the exchange offices of Dushanbe and Sogd region on the average made 4,4280-4,4420 Somoni for 1 USD. The average rate on operations with the Russian ruble and Euro have slightly raised and made 1,4320-1,4420 Somoni for 10 Russian rubles and 6,4300-6,4800 Somoni for 1 Euro accordingly.

The volumes of transactions on buying-selling of foreign currencies and the rates set in the inter-bank and intra-bank markets tended to decrease and testify to activization of operations with the Russian ruble. As a whole, on the affected operations the average buying-selling rate of US dollar and Russian ruble have slightly reduced and made 4,4109 Somoni for 1 USD and 1,4380 Somoni for 10 Russian rubles. The average buying –selling rate of Euro has a little raised and made 6,4420 Somoni for 1 Euro.

Today, on 22 September the average buying-selling rate of US dollar in the cash market of Dushanbe and other regions of republic has not changed and on the average set at the level of 4,4320-4,4480 Somoni. The average rates on operations with the Russian ruble and Euro have not changed and made 1,4310-1,4430 Somoni for 10 Russian rubles and 6,4320-6,4780 Somoni for 1 Euro accordingly.
