Transactions on buying-selling foreign currency in the inter-bank market have increased

On October 16 and during days off the average rate of buying-selling US dollar in the basic segments of currency market decreased. Thus, in the exchange bureaus of Dushanbe city and Soghd region it has on the average made 4,3800-4,3900 Somoni for 1 USD. The average rates on operations with the Russian ruble and Euro have slightly raised and have made 1,4620-1,4740 Somoni for 10 Russian rubles and 6,4800-6,4900 Somoni for 1 Euro.

The volumes of transactions on buying-selling foreign currencies and rates developed in the inter-bank and intra-bank markets on October 16, tended to decrease and testify to activation of operations with the Russian ruble and Euro. As a whole, the average rates of buying-selling US dollar on effected operations, have slightly decreased and made 4,3820 Somoni for 1 US dollar. The average rates of buying-selling Russian ruble and Euro have a little raised and made 1,4860 Somoni for 10 Russian rubles and 6,5195 Somoni for 1 Euro.

In the morning, on October 19, the average buying-selling rate of US dollar in the cash market of Dushanbe did not change and made 4,3820-4,4000 Somoni. The average rates on operations with the Russian ruble and Euro also have not changed and made 1,4740-1,4910 Somoni for 10 Russian rubles and 6,4800-6,5300 Somoni for 1 Euro.
