Board of the National Bank of Tajikistan

Due to non-compliance of the banking legislation, ending 2005 fiscal year with loss and not fulfilling minimum capital requirement in accordance with Article 26 of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On banks and banking activity” and Articles 36 and 48 of Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On National bank of Tajikistan” on April 14, 2006 the Board of the National Bank of Tajikistan took the Resolution (№132) to recall licenses given to the CJSC “STB-INVESTBANK” to carry out banking operations. Licenses given: in national currency from September 25, 2003 (№30), in foreign currency from October 1, 2003 (№30/1).

By following Resolution the Board of the National Bank of Tajikistan ordered the Information Technology and Payment System Department, Currency Operations Department and the Branch of the National Bank of Tajikistan in Khujand to suspend accepting payment orders of the CJSC “STB-INVESTBANK” for its correspondent accounts.
