On the 29th of August the meeting of NBT management and the Ministries of Finance of the republic with joint mission of the World Bank (WB) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) led by Mr.Hormoz Aghdaey, being in Tajikistan with the purpose of assessment of financial sector of the country, took place at the National Bank of Tajikistan. The head and members of the mission have presented the final review of the above-mentioned assessment.
On the 21th of August the meeting of the Chairman of NBT M.Alimardon with Chairman and President of China EXIM Bank Mr. Li Ruogu, visiting our country, took place at the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT). The Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan has acquainted the visitor with banking system of the republic, has told about priority directions of its development and investment climate of Tajikistan.

Head of Khujand Branch of the National Bank of Tajikistan Mr.Valiev N.A. noted, that organization of the first seminar in the Studying-Health Center of the National Bank of Tajikistan is the first step in implementation of the instructions and recommendations of President of the Republic of Tajikistan his Excellency Emomali Rakhmon, that he had given to raise standard of education of banking employees during his business trip to Sogd Region.
The Board of the National Bank of Tajikistan by its Resolution No.184 dd. June 19 of current year has recognized the decision of Board of JI Central Asian Bank on completion of self liquidation of the bank because of lack of debts.
