In connection with increase in the supply of foreign currency in the market by credit institutions and by the National Bank of Tajikistan, on June 16, current year, the average exchange rates of foreign currencies in the exchange offices of Dushanbe have a little gone down and set at 4,42 - 4,44 somoni for 1 US dollar, 1,42 - 1,43 somoni for 10 Russian rubles and 6,07 - 6,12 somoni for 1 Euro.
In the morning on June 15, 2009, the average exchange rate of buying-selling foreign currencies in the cash market of Dushanbe has not changed, exchange offices have begun their activity according to the information on rates at the average 4,43 - 4,45 somoni for 1 US dollar.
Within the day, on June 15, current year, the average rate of US dollar buying-selling in the exchange offices of Dushanbe did not change and made on the average 4, 43 - 4, 45 somoni.
The action plan set out below has been developed with the account of recommendations of the Special Audit conducted by an international auditing company “Ernst & Young” (London, Great Britain), and it as well includes implementation of requirements set by a joint Program within Memorandum of the Tajik Government on economic and financial policy for 2009-2011.

The average exchange rate of US dollar buying-selling has gone down and in the cash market of Dushanbe within the day on June 12, in connection with increase in the supply of foreign currency, tended to fall and fixed at level 4,42 - 4,44 somoni.
Today (on June 11, 2009), as yesterday the average exchange rate of US dollar buying-selling in the exchange offices of Dushanbe did not change and made as average 4,43-4,45 somoni for 1 USD. The average buying-selling rates of the Russian ruble and Euro have slightly decreased and made 1,41 – 1,43 somoni and 6,07 – 6,12 somoni accordingly.
In the morning, on June 10, current year the average exchange rate of US dollar buying-selling in the exchange offices of Dushanbe increased up to 4,44 - 4,46 somoni and at the end of the day it stabilized and made 4,43 - 4,45 somoni for 1 US dollar.
Today, on June 9, current year the average exchange rate of foreign currencies in the exchange offices of Dushanbe slightly changed and set at level 4,4350 - 4,4550 somoni for 1 US dollar, 1,41 - 1,42 somoni for 10 Russian rubles and 6,12 - 6,15 somoni for 1 Euro.
