In the days off the average buying – selling rate of US dollar in the exchange offices of Dushanbe and other regions of republic has a little gone down and on the average made 4,42-4,45 somoni.

At the next press conference of the National Bank of Tajikistan, which took place on July 16, 2009 for domestic and foreign journalists it was considered such actual issues, as the course of implementation of monetary policy of the Republic of Tajikistan, rates of development of national economy, results of the activity of the National Bank of Tajikistan and banking system of the country for the first half-year 2009, achievements and shortages for the reporting period, undertaken certain measures on minimization of negative influence of global financial crisis on the banking system and national economy.

16.07.2009 Average buying-selling rate of foreign currencies remained unchanged

Today, on 16 July the average rate of US dollar in the basic market segments has a little decreased, and in the exchange offices of Dushanbe on the average made 4,4352 somoni. In turn, the rate of other currencies was rather stable and the exchange rate of 10 Russian rubles has made 1, 39 somoni and 1 Euro - 6, 18 somoni.

15.07.2009 Average buying-selling rate of US dollar in the cash market has decreased

The average buying-selling rate of US dollar in the cash market of Dushanbe within the day of July 15 steadily decreased and made on the average 4,42-4,45 somoni for 1 USD. Demand for a foreign currency has decreased in connection with the operations effected by the National Bank of Tajikistan and credit institutions.

14.07.2009 Average buying-selling rate of foreign currencies is gradually stabilized

On July 14, the average buying-selling rate of foreign currencies in regions of the republic and Dushanbe was a little stabilized and the average buying-selling rate of US dollar in the exchange offices of Dushanbe has gone down to 4,44-4,46 somoni.

In turn the exchange rate of other currencies were stable, including 10 Russian roubles have made 1,41 somoni and 1 Euro - 6,10 somoni. Now there are stable supply and demand for national and foreign currency.
